7 Quick Nutrition Tips

  1. Buy a BPA free water bottle that holds at least 32 oz. Finish an entire bottle in the first part of the day, fill it back up and finish a second bottle to make sure your hydrated.
  2. Eat at least 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetables with breakfast. You have to eat 2 cups of fruits and vegetables per day. Plan your meals ahead of time to avoid failure. Drinking blended smoothies with fruits and vegetables every single day really helps!
  3. When shopping for snacks, make a concerted effort to buy nuts, seeds and dried fruits instead of junk food.
  4. The only meat I recommend is fish. Treat allĀ other meats as a delicacy.
  5. Steam food whenever possible, since it is the healthiest.
  6. Olive oil is one of the best oils to use for cooking.
  7. Drink nut and seed based milks.
